What to do if you’re hungry before bed? Celsus Slimming: What can you eat without getting fat?

Must read

When losing weight, people often worry that eating will affect their weight loss results, especially not daring to eat before bed. However, whether or not one can eat before bed depends on individual circumstances.

Horses do not get fat without eating at night; however, for running and fitness enthusiasts, it is not necessary to completely avoid late-night snacks, as the key lies in choosing food scientifically. Eating some protein-rich foods or having a glass of dairy before bedtime can help stimulate muscle recovery and growth, and is less likely to cause weight gain, but attention should be paid to food choices and overall calorie intake. Here, late-night snacks do not refer to indulging in beer, fried chicken, hot pot, and similar excessive eating.

Whether to eat when feeling hungry before bed depends on individual circumstances:

1. If one is physically weak, has a habit of exercising, or is in a growth phase, one can supplement with some low-calorie carbohydrates or protein-rich foods, such as whole grain bread, skim milk, low-sugar yogurt, boiled egg whites, boiled chicken breast, or fruits, but care should be taken to eat in moderation and wait a while before sleeping after eating.

2. If one usually exercises little and is overweight (including obese children), it is recommended to control food intake, as metabolism decreases during sleep, making it easier to gain weight. However, occasionally going to bed a little hungry has little impact on the body; one can also adjust the dinner time and portion based on the “hunger point,” dividing dinner into two meals, with the second meal eaten about 2-3 hours before sleep.

Eating the following foods before bed can help with sleep:

1. Warm milk: Milk contains tryptophan, which has a calming effect, and calcium helps the brain utilize tryptophan. Drinking a cup of warm milk before bed can aid sleep and provide a warm and relaxing feeling.

2. Flaxseeds: Rich in Omega-3 and fatty acids, flaxseeds can uplift mood. When feeling low or having poor sleep, sprinkling some flaxseeds on oatmeal may yield unexpected effects.

3. Chrysanthemum tea: Due to its gentle sleep-inducing properties, it is the top choice for a tea drink before bed, a natural remedy for calming the mind.

Celosia warm reminder: Arrange pre-sleep meals reasonably and make the right choices based on individual situations.
