Over time, their condition worsens, causing withdrawal from society, reluctance to make new friends, and a sense of life’s futility, often feeling dispensable and requiring great mental effort to find peace.

Depression significantly impacts a person’s life, leading to sleep disturbances, diminished mental well-being, and a sense of hopelessness.

They anticipate negative events daily, feel uncared for, wake up crying at night, and severe cases may engage in self-harming behaviors, indicating the need for professional treatment and avoiding sharp objects.

How can depression be alleviated?

Patients must actively cooperate with treatment, guided by professionals to understand and alter their perceptions, engage in social interactions, control emotions, and focus on positive aspects of life.

Considering their generally poor physical health, patients should exercise regularly, maintain mental well-being, as a healthy body and mind facilitate agile thinking, helping to overcome the troubles of depression.
