The Neurology Department of Quanzhou First Hospital is a clinical key discipline in Fujian Province, a key discipline in Quanzhou City, and a specialist construction alliance unit with Beijing Tiantan Hospital. It currently has 4 wards with a total of 181 beds and 8 subspecialties. It has unique features in areas such as acute ischemic stroke thrombolysis, arterial embolectomy, genetic mutations of Parkinson’s disease, comprehensive assessment and treatment of cognitive disorders. Continuous efforts have been made to deepen subspecialty construction by arranging medical staff to learn from higher-level hospitals.

In the future, we will continue to focus on interpreting cutting-edge knowledge, addressing patient needs, promoting public awareness and care for cognitive impairment and Parkinson’s disease, and ensuring that more patients receive timely care and support.
