Gynecologist: Unmarried women can also suffer from vaginitis, mainly due to these 5 aspects not being done well

Must read

For gynecological inflammation, many unmarried women would say, “I am not married yet, and I have not engaged in such behavior, so I don’t need to worry about getting gynecological inflammation.” Most women also hold this belief and think that inflammation is caused by improper sexual life.

However, in real life, women who are not married and have not had intimate relationships have also been diagnosed with gynecological inflammation, leaving them puzzled. They clearly have not engaged in sexual activities, so how did they still develop gynecological inflammation?

Gynecologist: Unmarried women can also suffer from vaginitis, mainly due to these 5 aspects not being taken care of

1. Wearing tight pants — tight pants inflammation

Some women like to pursue a slim figure and often wear tight clothing, such as very tight underwear or jeans made of chemical fiber textiles. These clothes are not breathable, causing the female genital area to be in a damp and stuffy environment due to increased secretions and sweating, which is very conducive to bacterial growth, leading to vaginitis.

Therefore, women who love beauty should first choose healthy and comfortable clothing that is not only comfortable to wear but also prevents the genital area from being damp and stuffy, thus preventing the occurrence of inflammation.

2. Not paying attention during the first menstrual period

Many girls do not understand many precautions during their first menstrual period. Poor menstrual hygiene, use of unqualified sanitary products, improper use of tissue paper, etc., can also lead to bacterial infections in the genital area, causing inflammation during the first menstrual period.

For example, there may be a significant increase in secretions, a burning sensation in the genital area, and even a frequent urge to urinate. Once these symptoms appear, it is best to seek medical treatment promptly. Also, pay attention to hygiene and cleanliness during future menstrual periods, choose qualified and reliable sanitary products, and timely change sanitary pads, etc.

3. Prolonged sitting for office women

Many women nowadays are office workers and often sit for several hours due to work or meetings, gradually becoming a sedentary group. Although these women have not had sexual activities, they are also prone to gynecological diseases.

Prolonged sitting not only leads to poor circulation in the lower limbs but also causes pelvic congestion due to repeated congestion, with the genital area being in a non-breathable state, making it vulnerable to bacterial infections and inflammation.

4. Improper hygiene and lifestyle habits

Even if women are unmarried and have not engaged in sexual activities, neglecting the hygiene of the genital area, wearing the same underwear for several days, not cleaning the genital area daily, can also lead to bacterial proliferation in the genital area, causing bacterial infections.

Or some women with poor lifestyle habits, such as smoking, drinking, staying up late, etc., leading to decreased immunity and hormonal imbalance, allowing bacteria to invade the body, causing inflammatory infections.

Some women may enjoy spicy food, but prolonged consumption of such foods can irritate the mucous membranes, leading to inflammatory infections. Repeated irritation and congestion of the mucous membranes can easily lead to bacterial infections.

5. Improper clothing for infants and young children

Although it is rare to see children wearing open-crotch pants now, some elderly people still let children wear them outside to play freely. If a child wearing open-crotch pants sits on the ground or crawls around, or even inserts foreign objects into the genital area, it can also lead to inflammation. Parents are advised to avoid letting children wear open-crotch pants.
