In contemporary society, inflammation has become a potential cause of various chronic diseases, and our dietary habits play an undeniable role in this.

Have you ever considered that some seemingly harmless foods in our daily lives might actually exacerbate the body’s inflammatory response?

Next, I will explain the relationship between diet and inflammation using a fictional story, both to help everyone understand better and to add a bit of fun to medical popularization.

The protagonist of the story, Xiao Wang, an accountant who loves fitness, experienced unusual joint pain after a workout. At first, he thought it was just muscle fatigue and didn’t pay much attention to it.

The third category consists of foods high in saturated fats, especially some processed meats and fast foods, whose unhealthy fats can increase the body’s inflammatory burden.

Finally, Dr. Zhao mentioned certain vegetable oils, particularly those rich in Omega-6 fatty acids, such as corn oil and sunflower oil, stating that excessive use of these oils may also lead to inflammatory responses.

Under Dr. Zhao’s advice, Xiao Wang decided to completely reform his dietary habits,
