Before implementing preventive measures, we must first identify the root cause of urethritis to treat it effectively. The main causes of urethritis in men include the following:
1. Urethral obstruction: Various factors can cause male urethral obstruction, such as phimosis, urethral strictures, foreign bodies in the urethra, urethral tumors, and urethral stones. The occurrence of these conditions can affect the normal passage of urine in male patients, leading to urethral obstruction, bacterial growth, and ultimately urethritis.
