Lemon water: Many people enjoy slicing fresh lemons into thin slices to make lemon water, which is actually a very good way to hydrate, far superior to commercially available lemon juice, and gout patients can drink this beverage with confidence.

This is because lemons are high in vitamin C and are rich in various nutrients. Besides vitamin C, they are also abundant in vitamin E, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, and more. Whether eaten directly or infused in water, they are very tangy.

However, this beverage does not pose adverse effects for gout patients. In fact, the nutrients in lemon, combined with lemon water, can provide certain benefits for gout patients, helping to dilute uric acid in the blood and promote its elimination, ultimately benefiting health.

Dairy products: Dairy products are very common in life and have become one of the essentials, with common varieties including milk and yogurt. For gout patients and people with high uric acid, it is said that they should not drink yogurt.

However, this claim is incorrect. Yogurt is a beverage produced through the fermentation of milk, which is easily absorbed and utilized by the body, thus providing alkaline components once inside.

Therefore, such beverages are safe for gout patients to consume, and the high calcium content in dairy products makes them a prime choice for daily calcium supplementation, especially for middle-aged and elderly individuals, as drinking a bag of milk daily can help prevent osteoporosis.
