However, older adults should be mindful that although bean paste is good, it should not be consumed in excess, preferably within 50 grams per day.

Dishes you can add bean paste to: steamed spareribs with bean paste, twice-cooked pork with bean paste, steamed fish with bean paste, diced chicken with bean paste. Chicken, duck, pork, beef, all can be combined with bean paste.

Moreover, bean paste processing often involves adding a lot of salt, so if bean paste is already added to a dish, the amount of salt used in cooking should be reduced to avoid excessive salt intake.
