【Synopsis】
Zhao Yuhao is a sixth-grade student who used to have excellent grades but has recently been absent-minded in class, unable to complete assignments, and avoids interacting with classmates. He always isolates himself by leaning on the desk alone. After his teacher discovered this, they talked to him in time and learned that the frequent quarrels between his parents had a significant impact on him. He felt that his parents only cared about his grades, disregarded his emotions, and were indifferent to his feelings, which made him feel suffocated. His parents devoted more attention, patience, and affection to his younger sister, leading him to develop a conflicting sense of jealousy towards her. He felt helpless and frustrated.
He was conflicted internally, constantly questioning himself, wondering if he was abandoned by everyone, with his parents criticizing him, and feeling disliked by his teachers and classmates. It wasn’t until he met the school counselor that, with the counselor’s assistance, all three of them had a long-overdue calm conversation. His parents realized their neglect towards him, their improper parenting methods, and the impact of the family atmosphere on him. Zhao Yuhao also understood his parents’ original intentions.
The dialogue and scenarios of the characters in the script are drawn from real life, exposing the existing realities in families, making it easier to resonate with parents and children. Through this performance, it can help parents have a clearer understanding of the issues in their family education and inspire children to learn how to manage their negative emotions correctly.
In the face of parent-child conflicts, arguments, and complaints cannot solve any problems; only genuine, calm, and honest communication is the tool to resolve conflicts.

【Parent Feedback】
Yang Hongxi (portrayed Zhao Yuhao’s mother):
As parents, we often overlook the true needs of our children. Many times, what our children need more is our attention, understanding, support, and appreciation. What we consider love may turn into indifference and neglect in our children’s eyes.
Through this psychological drama, I understand the importance of effective communication in families. We should not assume that children can understand our behaviors; instead, we should actively communicate with them, listen to their thoughts and feelings. When dealing with the issue of a second child, it’s important to balance the love between the two children, making sure each child feels cherished and respected.
Shi Chengxuan (portrayed Zhao Yuhao’s father):
As parents, we love our children very much, but sometimes we do not fully understand our children’s true needs. Sometimes, using love as a reason, we might unintentionally do things that hurt our children. After watching this campus psychological drama, I also received a lot of education.

【Student Feedback】
Yang Hongxi (portrayed by Zhao Yuhao):
I feel that during the performance, I gained a lot. In the drama, I successfully immersed myself in the protagonist Zhao Yuhao’s character, experiencing the helplessness and anger of a child when ignored by parents. The joy and relaxation of the family after adjusting through communication. I understood that it’s essential to communicate calmly when facing challenges, as arguments are futile. In the future, I will also rely more on communication to solve problems.
Shi Chengxuan (portrayed Zhao Yuhao’s father):
In real life, my father is similar to the father in the play; he works overtime almost every day. My father’s presence cannot be replaced by my mother; he can accompany me to do pull-ups, play ball, and go hiking. His encouragement and praise boost my confidence. By playing the father’s role, I understand the challenges of my father’s work and realize the importance of his role in the family.
He Yunxi (portrayed Zhao Yuhao’s mother):
Through role-playing, I also experienced the difficulties of parents. In this drama, misunderstandings arose between parents and children due to inadequate communication. Therefore, when family conflicts occur, family members should not blame and complain blindly but should learn to actively communicate and resolve issues within the realm of love, creating a relaxed and joyful family atmosphere.
Zhang Mo (portrayed the counselor):
This performance made me believe in the power of love, the magic of communication, and understand the importance of psychological dramas. I am determined to have a similar conversation with my family when I go back home.
