In this fast-paced era, health has become our most precious wealth. In order to popularize health knowledge and enhance the quality of life of patients, our hospital innovatively launched a “Health Small Classroom” every Wednesday. It mainly serves patients in geriatrics and traditional Chinese medicine departments, aiming to create a health exchange platform integrating popular science, interaction, and experience. Starting from July 28, 2024, one session per week will be held until August 14, with a total of three sessions.
The content is rich, combining education with entertainment.
To make the “Health Small Classroom” more vivid and interesting, we have invited experienced experts in psychology, fitness, and traditional Chinese medicine. In the classroom, they explain complex health knowledge in easy-to-understand language, making it comprehensible and learnable for the participants. Meanwhile, we also included small activities such as lottery draws, rewarding prizes like a breakfast bowl for the next day, a handmade traditional Chinese medicine sachet, significantly boosting the enthusiasm of the patients. Additionally, fitness experience activities like the Eight Pieces of Brocade and neck exercises have allowed the patients to enjoy the pleasure of exercise in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
Interactive communication, sharing health.
The “Health Small Classroom” is not just a unidirectional knowledge imparting process but also a bidirectional interactive communication platform. Here, patients can ask experts about their health conditions, seek professional answers and advice. Moreover, they can share their health experiences, life wisdom, showcase talents, encourage and support each other with other patients. This warm and positive atmosphere makes the patients feel the warmth of home and the strength of the community.
In this era filled with love and care, the “Health Small Classroom” is like a clear spring, nurturing the hearts of the patients. We believe that as long as we persist in our efforts, the “Health Small Classroom” will become a health paradise and a haven of happiness in the hearts of more people. Let’s look forward to it together.
