Men have a “short lifespan,” typically due to four habits. If you have one of them, it’s best to change it as soon as possible.

Must read

In this era of rapid development, many men tend to have some level of stress in their daily lives. They often work overtime and have social engagements. With significant advancements in society, many individuals wish to live longer. However, many men unknowingly have habits in their daily lives that can affect their lifespan.

1. Staying up late

Staying up late is quite common for students and working professionals. Some students frequently stay up late studying, while working professionals often stay up late for work. Regardless of the reason, staying up late is detrimental to health. Prolonged late nights not only lower the body’s immunity but also decrease attention levels, affecting work and study efficiency.

2. Poor dietary habits

For men, the kidneys are crucial for excretion, reproduction, and sperm storage. Many men tend to drink less water and prefer sweet beverages. This behavior significantly increases the risk of kidney diseases. Moreover, consuming high-fat and high-purine foods can also harm the kidneys.

3. Alcohol abuse

For men working outside, social engagements often involve alcohol consumption. At social gatherings, individuals tend to eat less, engage in various toasts, and drinking games. In daily life, if one indulges in eating favorite foods without restraint, especially rich and meaty dishes, thinking that they are still young, they may unknowingly invite diseases. Hence, it’s advisable for men to drink less alcohol in their daily lives.

4. Smoking

In this high-pressure era, many men resort to smoking to alleviate stress. Smoking is known to be harmful to health, yet many men struggle to quit. Prolonged smoking can blacken the lungs and negatively impact lung health, severely damaging overall health. Therefore, men are recommended to refrain from smoking.

How can men prolong their lifespan?

Men should distance themselves from smoking and drinking in their daily lives, even though quitting may be challenging initially. Gradually reducing the frequency of smoking and drinking is advisable. Additionally, avoiding staying up late and not working too late regardless of workload is essential. Especially for working individuals, compromising health for money should be avoided. Pay attention to dietary habits by reducing sugary drinks, increasing water intake, consuming fewer spicy foods, and focusing more on fruits and vegetables.
