The fourth thing is not to take a shower immediately after drinking. Neither hot nor cold water is advisable. Taking a cold shower not only does not help sober up but also prevents the liver from replenishing the glucose consumed from the blood, and the cold water stimulation may cause blood vessels to contract, potentially leading to vessel rupture or catching a cold.

The fifth thing is not to exercise after drinking. Alcohol has a diuretic effect, causing the body to lose more water after intoxication, which can lead to dehydration. Exercising at this point can exacerbate the risk of dehydration. Swimming after drinking is even more dangerous, as it can suddenly increase the body’s heat dissipation, resulting in dizziness, hypoglycemic fainting, leg cramps, and more.
