Male friend wants to “recharge” his kidneys, remember 3 kidney-nourishing principles to fill the kidneys with energy

Must read

On both sides of a person’s waist, there is a kidney. Various systems of the body rely on the kidneys, such as the reproductive system, urinary system, nervous system, etc. The kidneys are fundamental to the human body, just like the roots of a tree. Healthy kidneys lead to a healthy body, enabling men, as the backbone of the family, to understand the importance of nourishing their kidneys. However, many men are unaware of whether they have kidney deficiency or not. Let’s explore this today.

In traditional Chinese medicine, kidney qi is an intangible entity, akin to energy or driving force. When the body lacks this force, kidney qi deficiency occurs. If men are not treated for a prolonged period, symptoms such as weak lower back and knees, forgetfulness, insomnia, and even senile dementia may arise.

Kidney deficiency can also manifest as kidney yang deficiency, where the body’s energy is likened to the sun. When the body experiences kidney yang deficiency, it is like the sun being obscured by dark clouds, leaving the earth devoid of sunlight, causing a sense of coldness. Prolonged kidney yang deficiency can lead to emotional weakness, feeling cold, aversion to cold, excessive sweating, constipation, and reduction in physiological functions, resulting in a state of mental weariness in men.

For men to “recharge” their kidneys, remember three kidney-nourishing rules to energize the kidneys!

First: Rubbing the Yaoyan Acupoints

Men can observe their own lower back area. There is a depression located three inches beside the fourth lumbar vertebra on each side, known as the Yaoyan acupoint.

Method 1: Sit on a chair and expose the skin of the lower back. Rub both hands together to generate heat, then place them on each side of the lower back and rub downward. While rubbing, press the tongue against the palate, breathe evenly, pull in the abdomen, and tighten the perineum and anus. Rub downward 100-300 times, warming up the entire lower back, unclogging the meridians, nourishing the kidneys, and enhancing kidney function.

Method 2: Make a fist with both hands, place the thumbs at the base of the index fingers, clench the remaining fingers tightly, and rotate the fists inwardly around the Yaoyan acupoints. Also, do this 100-300 times, aiming for a tingling sensation. It can be done morning and night.

Second: Drink More Water

During the dry winter season, the skin tends to become dry due to changes in the weather, which is not conducive to kidney maintenance. Therefore, kidney care requires adequate water intake. Developing a habit of drinking water can boost kidney metabolism, reduce the burden on the kidneys, and promote kidney health.

Third: Consume Kidney-Nourishing Foods

In Chinese medicine, black foods nourish the kidneys. Hence, black foods like black beans, black rice, black mulberries, black sesame seeds, and black wolfberries are favored by men.

Additionally, there are some herbal plants that share medicinal and edible properties, such as maca, Chinese yam, raspberries, Eucommia ulmoides flowers, ginseng, Polygonatum sibiricum, combined with wolfberries, mulberries, and Chinese dates. Brewing these together as a tea, known as the Nine Treasure Tea, is more effective than consuming health supplements.

Ginseng primarily regulates the kidney meridians, replenishes vitality, and helps combat fatigue, a common issue in individuals with kidney deficiency. Meanwhile, maca, known as the “king of plants,” serves as a natural “hormone engine” for men. Mulberries contain abundant anthocyanins and vitamins, which nourish the liver and kidneys, regulate hormones, balance organs, and enhance kidney energy…

Men can brew these natural herbal plants together to boost immunity, enhance vitality, nourish the kidneys and liver, recharge the kidneys, and promote kidney health, improving desire and overall well-being.
