【Blanched Okra】
Ingredients: Okra, sesame paste, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, chicken essence, water, garlic
1. Firstly, wash the okra. There may be a layer of fuzz on top, it is best to wash these off, then blanch them. When the water in the pot boils, add a spoonful of salt and then add the okra.
2. When it boils again and the okra turns even more vibrant green, it can be taken out. Let them cool slightly in cold water, then drain the water and remove the stems. Do not remove the stems in advance, otherwise the mucilage inside will flow out, causing the loss of nutrients.
3. Arrange the okra evenly on a plate, then make a sauce. Whether to add garlic or not is optional. I like the taste of garlic, so I always add a lot. After chopping the garlic into minced pieces, put them in a small bowl, add a tablespoon of sesame paste, mix well with water, then add light soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and chicken essence to taste. Stir well and it’s ready to eat.
【Stir-Fried Okra】

3. After the okra is cooked, add the red chili and eggs, season with salt, chicken essence, and light soy sauce. Stir well and it’s ready to serve!
