If a man has these bad habits, sperm quality may not be too “optimistic,” hope you do not have

Must read

If men have these bad habits, their sperm quality may not be very “optimistic.” I hope you have none of them.

According to relevant data, the number of people suffering from infertility in the country is gradually increasing, with a significant portion of this attributed to low sperm quality in men. This serves as a reminder for all men to take care of their bodies in daily life to ensure the quality of their sperm. It is best to actively change the following six unhealthy lifestyle habits, as their impact on us can be quite significant.

If men have these bad habits, their sperm quality may not be very “optimistic.” I hope you have none of them.

Behavior 1: Prolonged Sitting

I believe many young people, like me, often sit in the office all day, rarely getting up to exercise except when going to the bathroom or getting water. After work, they just sit on the sofa playing with their phones. Long-term engagement in this bad behavior severely compresses the male reproductive organs, affecting blood circulation, which leads to insufficient blood flow to the lower body, consequently impacting hormone secretion. This can affect sperm production and quality, leading to infertility issues.

Behavior 2: Staying Up Late for Long Periods

For people nowadays, staying up late is very common. Some do it passively, while others do it actively. Sometimes due to work, insomnia, and other issues, our sleep time becomes insufficient. Long-term effects of this can seriously harm male sperm quality, as prolonged late nights gradually decrease kidney function, ultimately leading to a reduction in both sperm quantity and quality.

Behavior 3: Wearing Tight Underwear

Underwear is men’s close-fitting garment and is crucial for maintaining reproductive health. I suggest everyone choose looser, more breathable boxer shorts. Although briefs might better showcase the figure, wearing them for extended periods can harm our genital health by raising the temperature and impacting sperm quality, potentially leading to prostatitis and reproductive issues.

Behavior 4: Prefer Sitting with One Leg Crossed

I have noticed that many people unconsciously cross their legs as soon as they sit down. Coupled with our long-standing dislike of exercise, this habit places significant pressure on the male reproductive area, leading to increased temperature which not only inhibits sperm generation but can also kill healthy sperm, affecting normal fertility.

Behavior 5: Smoking and Drinking

This is a habit that many people have. Although everyone knows smoking and drinking are detrimental to health, many cannot quit. Sometimes it is to relieve stress, but I must tell you that this behavior not only fails to relieve stress but also harms our health.

Long-term smoking and drinking can increase the likelihood of respiratory and chronic diseases. Under the impact of these diseases, sperm quality and quantity rapidly decline.

Behavior 6: Participating in High-Temperature Recreational Activities

The male reproductive area is quite fragile and should not be exposed to high temperatures for extended periods. This means that men should avoid spending too much time in hot springs, saunas, etc. If we do not pay attention, prolonged habits like this can lead to problems with sperm quality and quantity.

Nutritionist’s Opinion: The above are the bad habits leading to infertility in men. After reading the article, I hope everyone can pay attention to their unhealthy habits and change them early, which will help reduce the occurrence of infertility and facilitate the arrival of a healthy baby.
