1. The Stable Job Group

In recent years, more and more young people aspire to have a stable job. Many young people even spend their time from graduating college to 35 years old preparing for government exams just to secure a stable job.

After all, the stable job group enjoys stable income, no worries about unemployment, and generally superior benefits. Hence, in the marriage and dating market, when many women are looking for partners, they often prioritize the stable job group—of course, I’m referring to the mainstream situation; there may be differences in metropolitan areas like Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou.

If men belong to the stable job group, they also tend to prioritize women who are in the same stable job category when looking for partners. After all, who would think it realistic for a state-owned enterprise employee to marry a girl selling goods on the streets.

In fact, I know someone who married a woman twelve years younger than himself. This acquaintance of mine is old and unattractive, but he understands the secret of the marriage and dating market: simply by telling women he’s in the stable job group, they may not only forego the dowry but might even offer financial support. Initially, this acquaintance of mine used to date women working in public institutions and banks. However, women from good organizations could see through his lies based on his attire and demeanor. Consequently, he chose a rural girl twelve years younger, achieving a successful strategy.

Therefore, in general, the stable job group has no trouble finding partners.

2. Successful Career Type

The successful career types own companies with substantial cash flow and are self-made individuals. It’s worth noting that starting and running a sizable company is much more challenging than getting into Tsinghua University. Successful career men are often of exceptional overall quality. Nowadays, many women aspire to marry older successful men, the so-called “uncles,” referring to these successful career types.

However, successful career men often prioritize women who can assist them in their careers when seeking partners. It’s unlikely for trophy wives to have a meaningful relationship with successful career men.

3. Wealthy Background Type

The wealthy background type can be understood as the second generation of wealthy individuals. In many regions, when evaluating whether a man is suitable for marriage, women mainly consider his family background rather than superficial traits like whether he is sunny, handsome, or ambitious, which are all relatively trivial. Women primarily focus on a man’s family circumstances.

Despite many inspirational stories suggesting that many second-generation wealthy individuals are profligate, the reality is that in families with good values, their children often excel—for instance, children of bankers have a deep understanding of finance from a young age, children of industrialists have a profound grasp of business operations and management.

Hence, many second-generation wealthy individuals are not only well-off due to their parents but are also outstanding individuals, making them hot commodities in the marriage and dating market.
