Men, please come in! Understand your fertility in 3 minutes.

Must read

Experts have proposed a new suggestion: relax the three-child policy! Wow, this viewpoint sparked quite a stir!

Most netizens believe that allowing a third child will not increase the birth rate, as there are simply too many factors leading to low fertility rates.

Raising children is costly, and that is one of the most obvious factors. Another significant aspect is the increase in infertility rates due to environmental pollution and rapid social development. Due to my profession, I have naturally observed some changes in male fertility.

According to a WHO survey:

15% of couples of childbearing age face fertility issues, with both male and female factors accounting for 50% each, and in developing countries, it reaches 30%. Reports indicate that the male sperm count is decreasing by 1% each year, with quality declining by more than half compared to 50 years ago.

** is a “window” to observe male fertility,

what kind of ** is considered normal? How is the fertility capability of this? Is ** normal?

Let’s take a few minutes to test it together!

Color

Normally, it should be milky white or grayish-white. Men who haven’t ejaculated for a long time will produce ** that is darker in color, and with increasing age, ** tends to become yellower, with elderly men typically having ** that is dark yellow.

If ** presents as brown-yellow or bloody, it is called hematospermia. This may be related to urinary tract infections, reproductive tract injuries, or diseases such as prostatitis, seminal vesicle stones, or reproductive tract tumors.

State

It is generally in a semi-colloidal state with some fluidity; if ** appears too transparent or diluted, it indicates low sperm concentration or even azoo-spermia (azoospermia and lack of ** are not the same).

Volume

The volume is typically 2-6 milliliters. The amount of ** generally correlates with the duration of abstinence; if there has been no sexual activity for a long time, the ** volume will be greater, and vice versa. Using condoms during regular sexual activity is also a method to observe ** volume.

Many people believe that more ** volume is better, but urologists will tell you that this is not necessarily true.

Both too little and too much ** can indicate certain health issues!

** volume <2mL (5th edition standard is less than 1.5mL) is classified as hypospermia, commonly found in infections of accessory glands, blockages, incomplete retrograde ejaculation, and underdevelopment of seminal vesicles.

** volume >6ml is classified as hyperspermia, commonly associated with hyperfunction of accessory glands, acute inflammation, hypersecretion of the anterior pituitary gonadotropins, and high androgen levels.

#Smell

The scent is also a key sign of ** health!

Normal ** has a faint, peculiar fishy smell, which is caused by the oxidation of spermine in prostatic fluid, with spermine being one of the significant components of prostatic secretions; the oxidation of spermine requires the participation of seminal vesicle fluid.

Therefore, the smell of ** can indirectly reflect whether the prostate and seminal vesicles are functioning normally.

This smell is usually also related to the duration of abstinence; the longer the abstinence period, the stronger the smell. If there is a noticeable foul odor, it could indicate prostatitis or seminal vesicle lesions.

#Liquefaction

Normally ** will change from a semi-colloidal state to liquid within about 30 minutes.

If it has not fully liquefied after 60 minutes, there may be issues to consider, such as seminal vesiculitis or prostatitis. This situation requires prompt medical attention; otherwise, sperm vitality will decrease, and movement within the female reproductive tract will be significantly hindered, making it impossible to meet with the egg.

By following three simple steps, you can roughly determine if your ** is normal! If you notice any abnormalities, you should seek medical attention promptly.
