So unexpected: 4 characteristics of men with good kidneys, I actually have them all! You should check it out too

Must read

The kidneys are located in the lower back of the body, helping the body with various metabolic functions. The excretion of urine and feces is an important external manifestation of kidney function. However, the kidneys are like kind old folks; they keep silent no matter what trouble arises, be it minor or major, until they can no longer bear it. When the kidneys experience abnormalities, the body usually shows no immediate reactions. People are often deceived by the kidneys’ calm surface, and it is male friends who are most concerned about kidney health.

How can you tell if your kidneys are healthy?

First, male friends do not have chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and high uric acid. These diseases can have certain impacts on kidney function. For instance, if a male friend has hypertension, the high internal blood pressure can compress the blood vessels surrounding the kidneys. If the pressure is too high, it can cause rupture of the blood vessels around the kidneys, increasing the damage to the kidneys. Diabetes can lead to complications in the kidneys, which are generally irreversible. If diabetic complications occur in the kidneys, it is undoubtedly a heavy blow to the kidneys. If a male friend suffers from diseases like high uric acid, the damage to the kidneys is even greater. The kidneys mainly perform metabolic functions, processing the body’s urine. If the urine contains high levels of uric acid, it can lead to the deposition of uric acid crystals in the kidneys, posing significant risks to the kidneys.

Second, male friends do not experience frequent urination. If you frequently experience symptoms like frequent urination and incomplete urination, your kidneys may already be experiencing issues. Apart from excreting excess water or consuming foods rich in water content, if frequent urination and incomplete urination occur regularly, it is a cry for help from your kidneys. Especially at night, frequent nocturnal urination should be taken seriously. If you do not experience frequent urination or incomplete urination regularly, it indicates that your kidneys are healthy.

Third, maintain a healthy weight. Maintaining weight is a common goal for many young people today. Many male friends often do not pay much attention to this aspect, believing that weight management is something only female friends should consider, not men. However, your health reveals your misconception. Many males may not appear obese but have surprisingly large bellies, sometimes as big as a pregnant woman at five or six months. In such cases, some male friends do not take it seriously, feeling rather pleased with themselves, thinking it’s just a “beer belly.” Little do they know diseases are quietly knocking at their door.

Obesity increases the workload on the kidneys. The more fat stored in the body, the more the kidneys unconsciously absorb and process, leading to the formation of kidney cancer over time. Therefore, for male friends with healthy kidneys, maintaining weight within a stable and healthy range is crucial.

Fourth, adopt a healthy diet. Many male friends often indulge in banquets, consuming large amounts of fatty and grilled foods. This frequent intake of high-sugar, high-fat, high-salt, smoked, and grilled foods increases the burden on the kidneys, eventually leading to kidney problems. Conversely, male friends with a more balanced diet are less likely to experience such health issues. Their bodies become healthier over time. Many young people enjoy drinking carbonated beverages, which can also burden the kidneys significantly. Male friends with healthier kidneys tend to prefer drinking plain water, generally avoiding alcohol and carbonated beverages. Drinking plain water ensures the body’s hydration needs are met, promoting kidney health.
