In order to further promote the national free medical equipment policy and expand the distribution of medical equipment, making it more convenient for the general childbearing population to benefit from the free contraceptive medical equipment provided by the government, on the morning of August 19, the Central Health Center of Nanhua Town in Gaotai County carried out activities promoting marriage check-ups, distribution of free contraceptive medical equipment, and free pre-pregnancy health checks.
At the event site, banners were hung, consultation desks were set up, and staff interacted with women of childbearing age to understand their needs for contraception, family planning, and medical equipment services, in order to provide targeted services. Actively promoting knowledge on marriage check-ups, contraception, reproductive health, and prevention of birth defects mobilized a large number of women of childbearing age to consciously implement contraception and family planning measures, actively participate in the free pre-pregnancy health checks provided by the government, and distribute contraceptive medical equipment and information on preventing birth defects to those who came for consultation.
At this promotional event, banners were hung, consultation desks were set up, over 80 people were consulted, more than 120 copies of leaflets on contraception, birth defect prevention, and policy promotion were distributed, and 5 boxes of free contraceptive medical equipment were distributed. This activity provided women of childbearing age with a further understanding of marriage check-ups, folic acid, pre-pregnancy health checks, family planning knowledge, and also increased their awareness and satisfaction with the national policy on quality and good breeding.
