According to statistics, the incidence of gynecological diseases in China is about 40%, with up to 280 million women affected by gynecological diseases.

On a global scale, gynecological diseases in China are predominant and more common than the common cold. Hence, the saying that out of ten women, nine have gynecological diseases.

Many women suffer silently from gynecological diseases, especially gynecological inflammations that tend to recur, remain unresolved for a long time, and the incidence of gynecological inflammations is increasing annually, severely affecting women’s physical and mental health.

Aside from factors specific to women themselves, spouses also play a significant role in the occurrence of gynecological inflammations.

Therefore, men should also take preventive measures against women suffering from gynecological inflammations, sparing their loved ones from the pain of gynecological diseases.

Factors contributing to gynecological diseases in women

1. Insufficient awareness of women’s health examinations in China

In recent years, although people’s awareness of health has improved and more individuals undergo medical check-ups, many women lack the concept of regular gynecological examinations. Some may not conduct routine annual check-ups either due to high costs or fear of a diagnosis. Many women may feel embarrassed or uncomfortable with gynecological examinations, leading them to avoid such screenings and miss the opportunity for early prevention and detection of diseases.

Most individuals only seek relevant examinations when experiencing discomfort related to gynecological problems, by which time diseases have already manifested.

2. Poor hygiene habits and lifestyle

If women fail to maintain good hygiene in their intimate areas, neglect hygiene during menstruation, overlook cleanliness in their sexual life, do not change underwear regularly, and use incorrect methods to clean the external genitals, these poor hygiene habits can lead to the high incidence and recurrence of gynecological inflammations.

Moreover, many working women frequently engage in social events due to work requirements, leading to late nights and disrupted biological clocks, weakening their bodies’ resistance and making them susceptible to bacterial infections causing gynecological issues.

3. Lack of physical activity

Many foreign women are fond of various sports, and inherent factors in different races contribute to their overall stronger physical fitness and higher resistance levels. Their ability to resist various diseases is also enhanced.

In contrast, many women in China are not keen on physical activity, do not exercise regularly, and have lower resistance levels, making them more prone to bacterial infections.

Factors contributing to gynecological diseases in men

1. Inadequate male hygiene

Many men exhibit poor cleanliness in their daily lives and neglect personal hygiene. Failure to clean themselves adequately before sexual intercourse increases the risk of introducing bacteria into women’s bodies, triggering the onset of gynecological inflammations.

Moreover, many men have elongated foreskin and do not actively address this issue. Coupled with poor hygiene, this situation fosters the accumulation of dirt and bacteria, making male factors the main cause of women’s gynecological diseases.

2. Reluctance to use condoms

During sexual intercourse, many men are unwilling to use condoms, finding various excuses to avoid their use. This behavior increases the likelihood of miscarriages in women, consequently leading to a higher incidence of gynecological diseases caused by miscarriages.

According to statistics from the National Health and Family Planning Commission, in 2015, there were a total of 13 million abortions in China, with 62% occurring between the ages of 20-29, and repeated abortions accounting for 55.9%.

Aside from contraception, condoms also prevent the spread of many diseases. It is crucial to recognize the importance of using condoms for protection.
