Lastly, moderate approach to bathing and back scrubbing is essential. Maintaining cleanliness is crucial, but frequent scrubbing can disrupt the skin’s natural barrier, leading to dryness, itchiness, especially in older adults whose skin metabolism slows down and immunity decreases. They should pay attention to bathing practices to avoid affecting skin health.
