They may avoid interactions with others. If you notice this behavior in someone around you, try to encourage them as it may signify mild depressive symptoms.

Constant self-doubt, denying their own self-worth.

Those with depression not only feel unhappy but also engage in self-denial, constantly belittling themselves, thinking they have no value and using phrases like “I’m useless,” “Life is meaningless, it would be better if I were gone.” They excessively criticize themselves, think negatively, and may even contemplate suicide. If you observe such behavior, remain alert as it could be a sign of depression.

If you encounter individuals like this in your surroundings, make sure to promptly offer support and help them break free from the cloud of depression.
