For all pregnant women, focusing on nutritional intake is key to maintaining their own and their fetus’s health. Especially for older pregnant women, it is even more important to emphasize calcium supplementation while controlling healthy weight gain, following the principle of eating small meals frequently, and maintaining a light diet, reducing the intake of coffee, tea, alcohol, and processed foods, and choosing healthy cooking methods to provide good nutritional support during pregnancy. It should also be noted that during pregnancy, especially in the early stages, foods that may cause discomfort, such as crabs, should be avoided to ensure safe eating.
