Weight loss is an eternal topic. Being overly obese in today’s appearance-driven era not only greatly affects our appearance but also is of no benefit to our health. Of course, weight loss is not about blindly shedding pounds by any means, or engaging in some pathological slimming methods. Like consuming some unknown or even unguaranteed prohibited weight loss drugs, many of which will lead to rebound effects, and in the worst case, cause significant harm to the body in the long term. Another erroneous slimming method is eating less or even not having a regular diet.
Today, I want to introduce to you this slimming-friendly dish, with main ingredients being small pumpkins, along with fat-reducing fruit oatmeal and yogurt.
Step 1: Buy a green small pumpkin and rinse it thoroughly with clear water. There’s no need to peel it. Put it in a plate and steam for about 30 minutes until the pumpkin is thoroughly cooked.
Step 2: After cooking the pumpkin, take it out, rinse it with cold water, let it cool for a while to dissipate the remaining heat. Then, using a knife, gently peel back the pumpkin skin from the top, following the pumpkin’s texture to create a petal-like shape. Peel does not need to be completely removed; just expose all the pumpkin flesh. (The cooked pumpkin skin can also be eaten).
Step 3: Cut a circle from the top with a knife, scoop out the pulp and seeds from inside using a spoon.
Step 4: Pour in a box of yogurt. Then add 2 spoons of fruit oatmeal, and finally, drizzle another layer of yogurt on top.
There you have it, the visually appealing, delicious, and fat-reducing pumpkin yogurt oatmeal is ready. Steaming the pumpkin whole instead of grinding or cooking it ensures the original taste and maximizes the nutrient absorption of the pumpkin.
