Needling Technique: The acupoint can be needled while seated or in a supine position, approximately 3 horizontal fingers (2 cun) away from the center of the navel (Shenque point) towards the left and right sides, which is the location of the Tianshu point. During pressure application, there will be a noticeable sore and swollen sensation in the local area of the acupoint.
Acupoint Usage: Massage Method: Stimulating the Tianshu point can be done by rubbing or pressing. Using the fingertip of the thumb, press or rub the Tianshu point on both sides, massaging the point for 3-5 minutes each session.
