Why does weight loss always fail? You need to first understand how fat is expelled from the body!

Must read

How is body fat expelled from the body? Perhaps among you, there are a few plump friends who are always thinking about how to shake off those layers of love handles.

You may stick to aerobic exercise every day and find that although your weight has decreased, the love handles on your belly remain. When you press your abdomen, are there hard abdominal muscles present? If no matter how hard you try, you can’t get rid of it, then you really need to read this issue carefully; it might help you.

â‘  The formation of fat!

First, let’s understand how fat is formed! After you swallow food during your three meals, your stomach begins to work. It secretes a large amount of gastric acid that mixes with the food, breaking it down into a porridge-like slurry. This is a long process since food will not enter the intestines until it has been completely broken down.

Once the stomach has finished its work, the slurry-like food is sent into the small intestine by the stomach’s peristalsis, and this is when the food can perform its best functions. As it passes through the small intestine, the slurry is continuously broken down while, unlike the stomach, the small intestine absorbs nutrients from the food. Though this process is quite interesting, the small intestine transports all nutrients through the bloodstream to various organs in the body, ultimately converting them into energy needed by the body.

There’s a key point here: if you consistently consume more energy than you expend, the excess energy in your body will be stored in fat cells as triglycerides. The more energy there is, the larger the fat cells will become, causing the fat layer to gradually thicken. This is the main reason why you can clearly feel yourself getting fatter.

â‘¡ So how can we quickly burn off this fat?

Good, this is a very good question. Many people mistakenly think that sweating is burning fat. If you think this way, you are very wrong; in fact, simply sweating only expels water from body fat.

When you finish your aerobic workout drenched in sweat, thinking that you are metabolizing fat, all of this is in vain. After drinking 500 milliliters of water, your weight instantly increases by half a pound; subsequently, the moisture from your meals is absorbed as usual, and you’ll quickly find that your weight returns to its original value.

Am I wrong for exercising? How can I efficiently lose fat instead of water?

Actually, aside from weight loss pills, there are only two effective methods. The first is to starve. This method seems simple and brutal but is very effective. When we start to feel hungry and do not eat, the body will prioritize using the blood sugar and glycogen stored in the body to maintain normal functions.

However, these carbohydrate substances are obviously not abundant in the body and cannot be converted as quickly as they can after eating; at this moment, the body will autonomously mobilize the fat stored in fat cells to provide energy for life activities. This will make you feel like the fat is decreasing significantly, but most people probably can’t do this because these fats accumulated due to their inability to control their diet.

Starving can indeed lead the body to burn fat, but that does not mean it is a healthy or sustainable fat reduction method. When you starve, your body enters a state of hunger, which slows down your metabolism to conserve energy. Additionally, prolonged starvation can lead to malnutrition, muscle loss, and other health problems, which typically need to be achieved safely under the guidance of a nutritionist or doctor. If you find that frightening, then perhaps you should try the second method.

A very simple way to eliminate fat is through free breathing. First, let me clarify that deep breathing here does not mean that by sitting quietly and relying on deep breathing every day, you can eliminate fat. What you need to understand is that the body’s functions are not designed that way. Rather, when you are engaged in vigorous exercise, you need to take in more oxygen, and the body will use this oxygen to burn fat. Research shows that oxygen does indeed help in fat breakdown, releasing a large amount of energy, which is then converted into carbon dioxide and water to be expelled through the excretory system.
