Nurse sister loses 50 pounds in six months, she says five points to pay attention to when losing weight, and there is one kind of “dish” she absolutely won’t eat

Must read

My sister is a nurse, and she told me about her colleague’s personal experience, a chubby girl who weighed 150 pounds and slimmed down to 100 pounds in six months. After losing weight, she became very confident, not just in terms of appearance but also in terms of overall health. Losing one-third of her body weight in six months is actually very beneficial for her health. Now, let me tell you about this nurse’s experience. Nurse sister lost 50 pounds in six months, and she said there are 5 key points to pay attention to for weight loss, and one type of food she absolutely avoids!

The nurse sister said that to successfully lose weight, there are five key points to follow to guarantee success. Firstly, find a physical activity you enjoy. Life is about movement, relying solely on dieting or various weight-loss pills is ineffective. Exercise is crucial, she tried running, sit-ups, and more for weight loss but didn’t enjoy them. Finally, she started going to the gym on a friend’s recommendation and fell in love with spinning class, attending twice a week. If you want to lose weight, choose an activity you enjoy.

Secondly, choosing the right food is crucial. Avoid high-sugar foods and fruits, like noodles and steamed buns. For someone who loves noodles like me, I cut back on noodles and choose whole grains or mainly eat rice. Also, don’t assume fruits won’t make you gain weight; don’t treat fruits as a meal. Fruits like grapes, durian, lychee, and watermelon are high in sugar content, so avoid eating too many high-sugar fruits if you’re trying to lose weight.

Thirdly, start your day with a glass of honey lemon water or plain hot water or pure honey water. I like drinking honey lemon water made by soaking lemons in honey, and drink a glass every morning, which helps with digestion and whitening the skin. This is something to be consistently maintained for long-term benefits.

Fourthly, have some vegetable soup before meals. Vegetable soup is light and gives a sense of fullness, helping you eat less during the main meal. Vegetable soup is also nutritious and not as fatty as meat broth. If you feel hungry after meals, avoid snacks and opt for tea or lemon tea, ginger jujube tea instead.

Fifth, develop a habit of weighing yourself every morning and evening. If you notice a significant weight fluctuation, it should serve as a warning, prompting you to avoid overeating the next day. Maintaining weight is a gradual process.

Another food to absolutely avoid is the kind that makes you want to eat more even when you’re full. If you no longer feel hungry, stop eating immediately; being 70% full is sufficient. We often tend to eat continuously when there’s delicious food, even after getting full, which is definitely not conducive to weight loss. So, if you feel full, do not take another bite of that extra food!

By practicing these five daily habits diligently, persistently, gradually slimming down day by day, remember, not taking a single bite of extra food, allowing your body to adapt slowly. In the long run, forming good habits, you will eventually thank yourself for persevering! These are the personal experiences of my sister’s nurse colleague regarding the above five points for weight loss. Feel free to try them if you want to lose weight, and if you find them useful, you can like or leave a comment to share your weight loss tips! I will regularly compile and share them with everyone.
