No one can give a perfect definition of love. Some say love is intoxicating, while others say love is deeply painful. As for what kind of love a man will choose, only he himself knows.
Love is a wondrous thing; some men treat it as the most important aspect of their lives, while others see it as merely a form of entertainment.
Regardless, men are always filled with longing and expectations about love.
Once a man understands this matter, he will no longer seek love. So the question arises, what kind of behavior will a man display if he has come to understand this?
Will no longer make sacrifices for anyone
When a man comes to this realization, he will no longer sacrifice for anyone, as he feels he no longer needs to.
There is a story about a man who, after marrying his wife, found that she never let him do housework; every day when he got home from work, she would urge him to do chores.
One day, the man could no longer tolerate this, and he had a big fight with his wife, ultimately leaving in anger to drink with friends.
After a few rounds of drinks, the man became utterly drunk, and when he returned home, he found that his wife had been waiting for him.
Though he was drunk, he still recognized his mistake and went to apologize to her.
However, when he arrived home, his wife told him, “I have to go to work today, you just stay home and behave.”
Will not do things to impress himself
Many men choose love based on actions that impress them. They believe that if their partner can make sacrifices for them, they will feel touched in return.
However, in reality, those actions that touch them are often what the partner hopes they will do.
Once you do those things, it will only annoy the other person.
I have a friend named Awei, who has been with his girlfriend for three years, but their relationship still feels stagnant.
The reason is simple: Awei rarely does anything that would impress his girlfriend. Whenever she mentions things she wants to eat, he always finds a way to meet her needs.
However, once she no longer wants those things, he becomes very impatient, even asking her, “What do you really want?”
When a man likes a woman, he often does many touching things for her.
But in truth, those actions are often not sustainable.
When men come to realize this, they discover that no matter what they do for their partner, it pales in comparison to a simple word from her.
Will not impose his emotions on others
I believe many people have heard the saying, “The reason I’m so good to you is that you occupy my mind, and I can’t fit anyone else in.”
This statement, while sounding sentimental, is actually one of the greatest harms to a man.
In a relationship, both individuals should be equal; one should not sacrifice more for the other, yet, in reality, it often plays out the opposite way.
If a man comes to understand this, he will stop imposing his emotions on others.
When you send him a message, he may choose to turn off his phone; when you call him, he may also choose to turn off his phone; when you get angry, he may turn off his phone; and when you’re sad, he may still choose to turn off his phone.
Because he knows that everyone is an independent individual, and no one can completely dedicate themselves to another person.
