A place that a young man needs to protect; don’t wait until you’re older to regret it, you might as well take a look!

Must read

With the development of society and the fast pace of life, health is becoming an increasingly important topic for people. Especially, the phenomenon of benign prostatic hyperplasia is becoming more common in men, posing not only a threat to men’s physical health but also affecting the relationship between spouses. If detected early, symptoms often include increased urination frequency, frequent nighttime urination, feeling of incomplete emptying after urination, and even residual urine. Over time, this can cause bladder congestion and swelling, leading to weaker urination.

If such symptoms occur, it is essential to take them seriously! In daily life, men may attribute benign prostatic hyperplasia to decreased secretion of sex hormones or inflammation. It involves the proliferation of prostate cells compressing the urethra, leading to a series of urological diseases. This condition commonly occurs in individuals over 50 years of age. Therefore, young men should take care of themselves and not regret it when they are older.

Benign prostatic hyperplasia requires self-preventive care:
1. After the beginning of autumn, the weather gradually becomes cooler, increasing the likelihood of such diseases. Patients should keep warm, prevent colds, and respiratory infections in their daily lives.
2. Due to life stress and work-related factors, men often drink alcohol, which can cause congestion and swelling of the prostate and bladder, adversely affecting sperm quality. Thus, alcohol consumption has no benefits for men and should be avoided.

3. Many men enjoy spicy foods, which can exacerbate symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. It can lead to congestion of sexual organs, severe cases causing edema, constipation, or hemorrhoids.

4. Due to stressful work schedules or nighttime urination, some men may delay urination, leading to bladder overdistension, weakening bladder muscles, and difficulty urinating — a significant factor in benign prostatic hyperplasia.

5. It is crucial to stay hydrated by drinking water regularly. Waiting until feeling thirsty means the body is already dehydrated, leading to concentrated urine. Hence, drink water regularly to maintain proper hydration levels.

6. When illnesses occur, proper medication should be taken cautiously. Many medications can cause difficulties in urination for men. Controlling the dosage is important to prevent acute urinary retention from excessive drug intake.

7. Timely treatment is crucial for any issues with male reproductive organs. Delaying treatment can worsen the condition over time.

8. Maintain cleanliness in the prostate area by keeping male genital hygiene to prevent bacterial growth due to increased sweating and lack of ventilation.
