In middle age, frequent urination, urgency, and incomplete urination! Use Jisheng Kidney Qi Pills with adjustments, to expel evils and support the righteous.

Hello everyone, I am Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner Liu Jiafu! As men age, many experience symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, and incomplete urination, which may even be accompanied by painful and discolored urine. At this point, most people tend to take antibiotics for relief, but once the medication is stopped, the symptoms often recur.

If you are also troubled by these issues, you should pay close attention to what I am about to say. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, antibiotics, although effective, are only a symptomatic treatment and do not address the root cause of the condition. Therefore, I do not recommend relying solely on antibiotics for treatment. Clinical observations show that men’s urinary issues are often caused by kidney qi deficiency and insufficient righteous qi. Once these root causes are addressed, various discomforts can disappear.

Traditional Chinese Medicine states, “The kidneys govern water.” The normal circulation of body fluids relies on kidney qi to drive it. However, as a person reaches middle age, kidney qi is often reduced by over half. When kidney qi becomes insufficient and weak, the movement of body fluids cannot be maintained. Over time, qi, blood, and fluids may become stagnant in certain areas of the body. If this stagnation occurs in the prostate, it can obstruct the prostate meridians, leading to inflammation, hyperplasia, or enlargement, among other issues. Moreover, as the kidneys and bladder are interrelated, kidney deficiency can weaken the bladder’s qi transformation function, resulting in symptoms like frequent urination, urgency, or incomplete urination.

On the other hand, the kidneys, which govern water, play a role in regulating urine production and excretion. If kidney function is weakened or deteriorates, the metabolism of body fluids will be affected, leading to irregular urine production and excretion, which manifests as frequent urination, urgency, and incomplete urination.

Moreover, insufficient righteous qi often arises because individuals in middle age face significant life pressures, juggling work and family responsibilities. Consequently, the body’s righteous qi can be excessively depleted, allowing pathogenic influences to take advantage of this deficiency and become difficult to eradicate. As a result, many middle-aged and elderly men experience recurrent urological diseases due to deficient righteous qi, making recovery difficult.

To address this issue, during treatment, Jisheng Shenqi Wan can be used as a fundamental formula, adjusted as needed. The original formula includes Niu Xi, which helps to nourish the liver and kidneys, strengthens the lower back and knees, and promotes urination. When combined with Fu Zi, it can warm and transform qi. Additionally, Shan Zhu Yu has a warming and nourishing effect on the liver and kidneys and, when paired with Shan Yao, can simultaneously tonify the liver, spleen, and kidneys, seeking the yang within the yin. The combination of these ingredients can fundamentally replenish the deficient righteous and kidney qi. Next, add Huang Bai, Rou Gui, and Zhi Mu. Huang Bai can drain damp-heat from the lower burner, Zhi Mu can nourish kidney yin and clear heat, while Rou Gui has the effect of promoting urination. When these three herbs are used together, they can dispel pathogens and facilitate urination.
