Men often don’t wear underwear. Is it good for the body? How long can men wear a pair of underwear?

Must read

Previously, people used to say that not wearing underwear is being obscene, but nowadays very few men agree with that. Sleeping without underwear at night can be very comfortable, giving a sense of liberation, sleeping better, and waking up more refreshed. The downside is that some men may wake up with wet sheets, but airing them out in the sun can solve that issue. Gradually, some people have made it a habit not to wear underwear, even during the day, feeling quite comfortable strolling around. But is it really good for the body to do so? Some say it can reduce sensitivity in certain areas, which is beneficial for men; others argue that it can lead to bacteria buildup and inflammation. So, who is right? Let me clarify that for you today.

In reality, not wearing underwear does not significantly reduce sensitivity. What one can directly feel is the freedom of movement, the ability to sway back and forth without constraints, and better ventilation. Apart from these, not wearing underwear poses only harm to the male body.

The most noticeable consequence for men not wearing underwear is the dampness in the special area. Underwear absorbs moisture, and men sweat a lot, especially when sitting for long periods, causing increased temperature on the inner thighs and more perspiration. Underwear helps absorb sweat, but without it, the sweat stays, leading to dampness, discomfort, and bacterial growth.

For men not wearing underwear, the lack of constraints in the special area can result in unforeseen hazards. Most pants worn by men have zippers for convenience. Some men, in a hurry, may not fully retract before zipping up, risking skin abrasions. If not careful, they may end up pinching the skin, which can be embarrassing.

Comparatively, while direct injury is an immediate risk, the presence of bacteria is a more latent concern, often unnoticed. Only when the bacteria accumulate do men experience urgency and frequent urination. In usual circumstances, bacteria and dust accumulate on men’s pants and may lead to discomfort while urinating.

In conclusion, it may be fine not to wear underwear to bed as metabolism slows during sleep, but during the day, wearing underwear for support is beneficial for the body. However, wearing the same underwear for an extended period is not advisable; the idea of how long one can wear underwear might be surprising!

Some men wear the same underwear from their school days through their working lives, changing girlfriends and cities along the way, but never changing their underwear. They wear one pair for two days regularly, inside out for two days, and swaying around for another three to four days, surviving a week. They only change when the underwear has holes, elasticity collapses, resembling a “G-string.” The underwear may last for a year or even more, as some men surprisingly manage not to change it.

However, the real lifespan of underwear is less than half a year; it should be replaced every three months and washed daily. Although men do not have vaginal discharge like women, still, sweat, urine residue, and bacterial buildup occur, indicating the need for frequent washing and changing. When underwear turns yellow, becomes stiff, or develops odors, it’s time to dispose of them. For those who refuse out of sentiment, there may be consequences for their health.

As a male, you are the backbone of a household and must not let your health deteriorate due to negligence towards underwear hygiene. Wear underwear during the day, wash and change them regularly. When three months pass or if they emit odors, it’s time for a new pair. Have you been following these practices?
