Negative energy, most afraid that you knead here

Must read

In life, we often hear the saying: the more successful a person is, the better they are at controlling their emotions, especially leaders, corporate executives, and industry elites.

However, in recent years, we have frequently seen news of well-known successful individuals passing away due to illness, whether from sudden cardiac arrest or cancer.

I think the causes of sudden death and cancer, aside from exhaustion, are also very important factors related to this so-called “strong emotional control.”

On the surface, they appear resilient, cultured, and refined, but when facing economic downturns, they inevitably also feel frustrated; when dealing with customer complaints and team member grievances, they may feel down; when encountering deceitful partners; and in the face of failure, they may even doubt life… But they must maintain a positive, strong image, so they can only rely on “strong emotional control” to manage it all.

In fact, the negative energy they feel inside needs to be released. Excessive control and restraint can lead to internal injuries—liver stagnation and qi blockage. “Danxi Heart Method” explains the concept of stagnation quite thoroughly: “When qi and blood are harmonious, no diseases arise. When there is frustration, all diseases emerge. Therefore, many ailments in the body arise from stagnation.”

Modern medicine has also found many studies showing that emotions are intricately linked to the body’s nervous regulation, immune system, and hormone secretion. Whether you are a successful individual or an ordinary citizen, it is crucial to release the negative energy and minor emotions in our lives. Especially for those who are under immense pressure and constantly anxious, it is essential to have a little treasure that brings them joy.

Open the Four Gates, regulate qi and blood

Sometimes adjusting one’s mindset doesn’t work; one must definitely try “opening the Four Gates,” which is truly an excellent method for smoothing qi and blood and relieving emotions.

The Four Gates refer to two He-gu points and two Tai-chong points. — “The Great Compendium of Acupuncture”

The Four Gates are highly regarded acupoints in medicine, showing significant effects in treating conditions of irritability, depression, insomnia, breast diseases, high blood pressure, and various pains, effectively addressing almost any ailment caused by qi stagnation.

When pressing and rubbing, use the tip of your thumb to apply force on the acupoint while your index finger rests on the corresponding position on the inside of the hand or foot, applying relative pressure to enhance the pressing force, causing a noticeable sensation of soreness and swelling in the acupoint, even radiating outward. Press for half a minute on each point, then switch to a minute of rubbing, applying slightly less force while still maintaining a certain downward pressure.

He-gu governs qi, Tai-chong governs blood

He-gu is the original point of the Yangming channel with abundant qi and blood — the Large Intestine channel. The qi of He-gu is Yang; when it absorbs heaven’s qi, it naturally descends to facilitate circulation, particularly in regulating the qi within the blood.

Location: On the back of the hand, between the 1st and 2nd metacarpal bones, at the midpoint of the radial side of the 2nd metacarpal bone.

Tai-chong belongs to the Shaoyin channel with less qi but more blood — the Liver channel. The qi of Tai-chong is Yin; it absorbs earth’s qi, naturally rising to facilitate movement, particularly in regulating the blood within the qi.

Location: On the lateral side of the foot, in the depression before the junction of the 1st and 2nd metatarsal bones.

After opening the Four Gates, clear Yang rises and turbid Yin descends, promoting natural communication between above and below, harmonizing qi and blood, allowing all diseases to heal themselves.
