Aunt period only lasted two or three days, what’s going on? Compared to being clean only after a week, which one ages faster?

Must read

Menstruation is a cyclical physiological phenomenon in women, usually lasting about a week is considered normal. However, some women find that their menstrual period ends after only two to three days, which has raised questions for many people.

Firstly, if a woman maintains this two to three-day cycle from the start of menstruation, and the amount of bleeding is moderate, this is likely a natural growth pattern of her endometrium and there is no need to worry excessively, as it falls within the normal range.

On the other hand, if menstrual periods suddenly become very short for a period of time, to the extent that not even a sanitary napkin is used for a full day, there may be multiple underlying reasons that need attention. Among them, deficiency of Qi and blood is a common factor, especially when women are constitutionally weak and exposed to cold leading to dampness accumulation, it is more prone to anemia, which in turn affects the amount of menstrual bleeding. For women who suffer from malnutrition due to excessive dieting, similar problems may arise, and it is recommended to adjust dietary habits in a timely manner to prioritize health over slimming down.

It is worth noting that in young women, a sudden decrease in menstrual flow may signal premature ovarian failure, which not only affects fertility but also poses long-term damage to overall health. Furthermore, endometrial diseases or ovarian issues may also lead to reduced menstrual flow, therefore, undergoing timely gynecological examinations is particularly important.

As for the length of the menstrual cycle, 3 to 7 days are considered within the normal range, the key is that the amount of menstruation should be moderate, whether too much or too little, vigilance is required, and timely medical treatment is necessary to maintain gynecological health.

Proper care during menstruation is equally crucial for maintaining physiological health. Avoiding cold drinks and foods, ensuring warmth, can effectively prevent coldness in the uterus, reducing the risk of decreased menstrual flow and menstrual pain. At the same time, maintaining a light diet, reducing intake of greasy and spicy foods, helps in nourishing Qi and blood and balancing nutrition, which is highly beneficial for the health of the uterus and ovaries.

Lastly, for women who want to lose weight, choosing scientifically sound weight loss methods is crucial, as inappropriate weight loss methods may bring additional burden to the body and should be handled with caution.
