Hello everyone, my name is Xiao Qi, and I am still a university student who has not yet graduated. Today, I want to share my weight loss story with everyone. Essentially, the past half year of weight loss has been one of the most significant changes in my life. Six months ago, I felt fat, really fat. Although my eyes were quite large, the excess weight made my face look bloated, giving me a tired and listless appearance. However, after six months of successful weight loss, not only has my body improved, but I also feel more confident and radiant, almost like a completely different person.
I remember at my heaviest, I weighed around 138 pounds. Considering my height is only 160cm, this weight was considered very high for me. Looking round-faced like a ball from a distance, it was truly unattractive. The reason I decided to lose weight was due to transitioning from high school to university. The distance between my school and home, being in a different province, left me feeling lonely without my parents’ care. Seeing my roommates slim down drastically only added to my emotional distress. So, I made the decision to start my weight loss journey. I sought advice from a nutritionist at the university’s sports department, who recommended six types of weight loss foods. The approach focused on controlling my diet and increasing physical activity, steering clear of diet pills or extreme dieting. After nearly half a year, I successfully reached 120 pounds, and even my facial features became more defined, especially my naturally pointed chin, which I really admire.
Reflecting on it now, successful weight loss brought about not just physical changes but also a significant psychological transformation. I became more confident, driven, and felt an unstoppable push forward. It almost feels magical, and I believe giving each day my best effort is the least I can do to fully embrace life.
I won’t dwell on other details. Controlling diet and exercising are truly effective for weight loss. Reflecting on my journey, I want to share some of the weight loss foods I ate hoping they might help others pursue a balanced and healthy diet for effective weight loss!
