Ingredients: 500g winter melon, 30g shredded ginger.

Seasonings: soy sauce, salt, sugar, cooking oil.

Method:

1. Peel, deseed, and wash the winter melon, then cut into approximately 2cm pieces.

2. Peel and shred the ginger.

3. Heat a wok with a little oil, sauté the shredded ginger until fragrant.

4. Add the winter melon pieces and stir-fry evenly.

5. Quickly add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce.

6. Add a little salt and 1 teaspoon of sugar, cover and simmer until cooked through.

7. To prevent sticking, stir a few times. For a lighter taste, after adding all seasonings, you can add 1-2 bowls of water and simmer until cooked.

8. Seasoned just right, tender, and very delicious.

Tips:

Winter melon is cooling, so it’s not suitable for those with weak spleens, stomach problems, or diarrhea. It’s best for women to avoid during menstruation. Due to its low sugar content, it can be consumed by diabetics and hypertensive patients.
