Weight loss and fat reduction: How to administer semaglutide? What to do if there are no small dosage markings on a large pen?

Must read

Semaglutide is available in two specifications (2mg and 4mg)

How to inject small doses from the large specification Semaglutide injection:

[Top left] Method One: Count the Scale

The large specification Semaglutide dose display window has a total of 56 scales, which is 1 mg

0.5 mg corresponds to 28 scales, and the scale line for 0.5 mg is shorter than the lines before and after

0.25 mg is 14 scales, and 0.75 mg is 42 scales.

[Top left] Method Two: Count the Sounds

From 0 to 1 mg, there are a total of 74 clicking sounds

Starting from 0, the 19th sound is 0.25 mg

Starting from 0, the 37th sound is 0.5 mg

Starting from 0, the 55th sound is 0.75 mg

Missed Doses

If a dose is missed, it should be administered as soon as possible within 5 days after the missed dose. If more than 5 days have passed since the missed dose, the missed dose should be skipped, and the next dose should be administered on the regular scheduled medication day. In each case, the patient should resume the once-weekly regular dosing schedule.

Storage Instructions

1. Before first use: Store in a refrigerator (2°C~8°C), in the fresh-keeping compartment, and do not freeze. If frozen, it can no longer be used, with a shelf life of 36 months.

2. After first use: Store in an environment below 30°C (it doesn’t have to be in a refrigerator), or refrigerate it (2°C~8°C); it can be stored for a maximum of 6 weeks.

3. Do not freeze this product, and do not use it if it has been frozen. When not in use, replace the pen cap to protect it from light. After each injection and during storage of this product, the needle should be removed to prevent needle blockage, contamination, infection, leakage of the solution, and inaccurate dosing.
