What I want to discuss today is a common fruit: the apple. Apples are frequently seen in our daily lives. Some people believe that when waking up on an empty stomach, it is unsuitable to eat fruits, as they contain a rich amount of dietary fiber, which may increase intestinal motility. If the motility becomes too fast, it could lead to abdominal pain or diarrhea. However, when it comes to eating fruits, there is no need to worry about potential diarrhea or belly aches after getting up, at least not with apples.

Apples have high nutritional value, and many women who are trying to lose weight prefer to do so by eating apples. Although the stomach is empty after waking up, consuming apples does not lead to discomfort unless they are not thoroughly washed. Moreover, eating apples helps increase feelings of fullness, reducing the risk of obesity from overeating. Also, eating apples does not take long, making them suitable for those who do not have much time for breakfast after getting up.

Why apples instead of other fruits? Is it that other fruits are not suitable to eat on an empty stomach? The choice of apples is because they are low in fat and high in nutritional value. After a night of energy consumption, our body needs to replenish some energy, and the best way to do this is by consuming sugars. However, sugar alone does not enhance the feeling of fullness, which is why apples, with their not-so-low sugar content, are chosen. They can increase feelings of fullness while also providing nutrition and energy to the body, achieving two goals in one.
