Men often drink coke, will “hurt the essence”? Reminder: The real essence-hurting matters, you may do it every day.

Must read

It is widely circulated that drinking cola will kill sperm, but research has found that sperm can survive in a cola-filled environment, so there is no truth to cola killing sperm. In daily life, some people do experience a decline in sperm quality due to daily cola consumption, and the reasons are explained below.

Cola is a carbonated beverage containing a high amount of sugar and carbon dioxide. The sugar will be metabolized by the body, with excess sugar possibly accumulating in the kidneys and blood vessels, leading to potential fat deposition within the body. This explains why prolonged cola consumption can lead to weight gain.

Weight gain is a significant factor in killing sperm. After men gain weight, it severely impacts the body’s metabolism and functions, resulting in a significant decrease in both sperm quantity and activity.

There are various reasons for weight gain, such as frequent cola consumption, indulging in fried foods, overeating, etc. So, the blame should not solely be placed on drinking cola as many unhealthy dietary habits among men can also lead to a decline in sperm quality.

Although it has been debunked that cola kills sperm, excessive cola consumption is not beneficial to one’s health as it can increase the likelihood of men developing issues like high blood sugar or high cholesterol which can significantly damage their health. It is recommended that men reduce cola intake and take responsibility for their health.

Aside from obesity, there are genuine sperm-damaging activities that you might engage in daily.

Sperm damage is linked to emotional distress, as men experiencing ongoing sadness or poor mental states may suffer from hormonal imbalances. Hormonal imbalances in men can disrupt sperm function, reduce sperm count, and some men may even face infertility risks due to long-term low moods.

Men, besides poor dietary habits, may be picky eaters, prefer meat over vegetables, causing a decline in sperm quality. It is advisable for men to maintain adequate nutrition, supply their bodies with essential nutrients, and avoid deteriorating sperm quality.

Factors like heat, radiation, can contribute to a decline in sperm quality within a man’s body, where high temperatures lower sperm activity leading to potential damage. Individuals exposed to prolonged radiation may experience decreased sperm activity and quality, potentially resulting in increased risks of deformities, premature births, etc., in offspring.

Men should refrain from wearing tight pants, change underwear regularly to prevent tight, non-breathable undergarments from affecting sperm health.

Regarding the living environment, men should avoid areas with high nuclear radiation to prevent any decline in sperm quality due to radiation exposure.

In daily life, men should also be wary that smoking, drinking alcohol, staying up late, can cause damage to sperm quality and affect sperm health. It is recommended to quit these habits promptly, take responsibility for one’s health, and ensure future generations are safeguarded.
