Men with short lifespans tend to do these four things before bed. If you also do them, try to change!
As people become wealthier, they no longer need to worry about their livelihoods. Therefore, they start to care about their health, desiring longevity. Although many physical ailments can now be quickly relieved, medical science still cannot extend our established lifespan. Therefore, many people want to break this limit and try all means to maintain good health and delay aging, either by undertaking various forms of physical exercise or blindly following unscientific remedies.
In fact, longevity is influenced by many factors. Men generally have shorter lifespans compared to women because men may face more pressures in life and have more bad habits, such as smoking and drinking, which are prevalent among men. Therefore, male longevity seems more rare. In reality, there are some everyday habits that many people overlook but silently steal men’s lifespans. As long as these habits are changed, living longer is not so difficult.
Men with short lifespans tend to do these four things before bed. If you also do them, try to change!
1. Smoking before bed
We have known since childhood that smoking has a significant impact on our health, although the harm may not be immediately apparent, it accumulates slowly, especially affecting the respiratory system. Many people like to smoke a cigarette before bedtime, believing it quickly relieves the day’s stress, relaxes the body, and helps with sleep. This is actually a big misconception because the substances in cigarettes can stimulate the brain nerves, affecting sleep, and smoking at night doubles the harm to the body, leading to hormonal imbalances and abnormal blood indicators.
2. Not brushing teeth before bed
Compared to women, men often seem less concerned about hygiene. They usually only brush their teeth once in the morning and head straight to bed at night, rarely brushing their teeth. This can cause food residues in the mouth to breed bacteria, gradually accumulating harm to the body, not only damaging teeth but also affecting the stomach.
3. Eating before bed
Many people enjoy reading or scrolling through their phones before sleep and inevitably snack a little. Even though the consumption may be minimal, during sleep, our body organs slow down to rest, and snacks increase the burden on these organs, accelerating their aging process.
4. Getting angry before bed
Men deal with various work challenges during the day, leading to some frustrations. Upon returning home, they may feel irritable, easily getting angry. However, this not only raises blood pressure and causes extreme brain nervousness, preventing sound sleep, but also affects hormone secretion and weakens the immune system.
