Men with short lives often “love to do” these things, if you want to live longer, please give up one by one

Must read

In recent years, as people’s living conditions have improved, the pursuit of longevity has become more evident. However, due to some people’s habits and dietary habits, they often shorten their own lives.

According to surveys, the average lifespan of women is generally higher than that of male friends, influenced by various factors. The pressure on men in society is indeed relatively high, coupled with irregular eating habits, making men more prone to illness.

However, the reasons for the shorter lifespan of men are also feasible, often due to certain habits they indulge in. Men with shorter lifespans generally have four habits that, if changed, would be beneficial.

Men with shorter lifespans often engage in habits that if they want to live longer, they should abandon them one by one.

Long-term constipation:

As living conditions improve and work pressure increases, many male friends neglect their dietary habits, leading to prolonged suffering from constipation. As men age, their digestive system deteriorates, exacerbating constipation where food remains undigested in the intestines, eventually being absorbed.

This worsening constipation should be addressed by changing dietary habits to include better digestion-friendly foods, such as coarse grains, to promote intestinal peristalsis, aid in expelling waste, and alleviate constipation.

Leg crossing:

Crossing legs seems to be a habit that most people enjoy, regardless of gender. While seemingly harmless, prolonged leg crossing is highly detrimental to health. It can twist the hips, exerting significant pressure on the spine and neck. Moreover, leg crossing can increase pressure on the other leg, affecting blood circulation and potentially leading to varicose veins in the lower limbs.

Increasing pressure on the leg being crossed also elevates the pressure on the heart, potentially impacting overall health and shortening lifespan. To prolong life, it’s advisable to give up such harmful habits.

Skipping breakfast:

With high work pressure and fast-paced living, many people opt to skip breakfast after waking up late. Compensating for breakfast during lunch and dinner is a harmful practice; each meal is essential for health. Research shows that those who neglect breakfast shorten their lifespan by an average of 2.5 years.

Skipping breakfast triggers the brain to crave high-calorie foods during subsequent meals, increasing the chances of consuming junk food and inviting various diseases. To live longer, it’s crucial to abandon this habit.

Inability to regulate emotions:
Emotions can significantly impact one’s health status, increasing the chances of falling ill. Men facing high stress often experience negative emotions but may be reluctant to express them, leading to internal repression. Prolonged emotional suppression can lead to psychological disorders and increase the likelihood of depression, severely affecting overall health.

Therefore, men seeking to extend their lifespan should avoid this unhealthy behavior. When feeling uncomfortable emotionally, it’s essential to confide in others promptly and engage in conversations to maintain mental well-being.
