Remind men: After the age of 50, if you do not want to be “targeted” by prostate cancer, try not to do these 4 things.

Must read

The prostate, a unique male physiological structure, is hailed as the “gland of life” for men, and its importance is self-evident. It is not only a key component of the male reproductive system but also closely linked to overall male health, like the root of the tree of life, once damaged, it will have profound impact on the entire life system.

When there are problems with the prostate, these four “signals” need to be carefully identified to avoid misdiagnosis:
1. Difficulty urinating
The prostate is extremely important for men, also because it has a function in controlling urination. In the early stages of prostate cancer, it can stimulate the bladder, leading to discomfort during urination and difficulty in the process, with symptoms of urgency, frequency, and incomplete urination.

2. Urinary frequency and urgency
Urinary frequency and urgency are common signals of prostate cancer, and patients can clearly feel frequent and urgent urination during the course of the disease. They often need to urinate during sleep at night, which is also a common sign of the disease.

3. Increased nocturnal urination
A significant increase in nocturnal urine, always needing to get up to urinate, needs to be highly vigilant as this situation may be a signal of prostate cancer. During the development of prostate cancer, the decreased function of the prostate in patients can also cause pressure on and affect the bladder, leading to increased nocturnal urination.

4. Changes in urine characteristics
Normal urine is usually pale yellow and transparent. When prostate cancer invades surrounding tissues, organs, or ruptures blood vessels at the cancer site, urine color can turn red due to an increased number of red blood cells, known as hematuria. Infections secondary to prostate cancer can lead to increased white blood cells in the urine, causing turbidity and even sediment.

Remind men to take precautions against prostate cancer and avoid the following four actions after the age of 50:
1. Blindly supplementing with androgens
2. Prolonged sitting
3. Holding urine
4. Alcohol abuse

To prevent prostate cancer, men can regularly consume the following five foods to protect their health:
1. Cabbage
2. Pumpkin seeds
3. Spinach
4. Green tea
5. Soybeans

All mentioned foods should be consumed in moderation to avoid digestive issues. It is recommended to undergo regular prostate-related examinations to detect and treat potential issues early.
