Why does a man’s “ability” tend to decline in middle age? It may be related to four behaviors; may you avoid all of them.

Must read

In reality, more and more men are encountering a “difficult to discuss” problem – erectile dysfunction, especially in middle-aged men.

As men age, they experience increasing stress, which leads to health issues, and gradually, some men become passive, even lacking a marital life.

However, over time, this not only affects the feelings between couples but also has negative impacts on both parties’ health.

Why do men in middle age have decreasing “capabilities”? It may be related to four behaviors; may you not fall into any of them!

Behavior One: Smoking

Smoking can affect the quality of male sperm and may lead to infertility; meanwhile, it also lowers male sexual performance, thus reducing the quality of marital life.

According to surveys, men who smoke less than 20 cigarettes a day are 24% more likely to suffer from sexual dysfunction compared to non-smokers.

Clearly, smoking has a significant impact on men’s “capabilities.” Additionally, smoking increases the risk of prostate diseases in men.

As men reach middle age, the incidence of prostate hyperplasia gradually increases. If this is accompanied by smoking, it may occur earlier, and prostate hyperplasia is an easily overlooked male-specific disease that can lead to impaired excitability of sexual nerves, resulting in premature ejaculation; in severe cases, it can cause a complete loss of sexual function.

Behavior Two: “Three Highs” Diet

As people’s lives improve, the number of individuals suffering from chronic metabolic diseases is also rising, with a significant cause related to diet – the “Three Highs” diet.

The “Three Highs” diet refers to foods that are high in calories, high in fat, and high in cholesterol. Common foods in this category include fried foods, fatty meats, salted duck eggs, and animal organs. Consuming too much of these foods can increase the likelihood of obesity and raise the risk of hyperlipidemia and fatty liver disease.

In fact, obesity also greatly impacts men’s “capabilities,” making movements less agile and promoting excessive secretion of female hormones, which causes a reduction in testosterone production by the testicles, thus diminishing male libido.

Behavior Three: Sedentary Lifestyle

With changing work nature, more and more people are sitting at their desks daily. After work, rushing between dinners and home, there is rarely time for exercise. Over time, body metabolism slows down, leading to increased laziness.

For men, a sedentary lifestyle directly compresses the prostate, impairing blood circulation in that area, leading to the accumulation of metabolic waste that cannot be smoothly expelled. Over time, this can exacerbate prostate edema and congestion, resulting in urinary abnormalities, at which point prostatitis may develop.

Prostatitis tends to occur at a younger age. If long neglected without proactive treatment, with aging, the condition may worsen, leading to very obvious results in middle age – reduced “capability.”

Behavior Four: Chronic Late Nights

Staying up late is a common issue in modern life. Over time, it impacts the nervous system, vision, memory, and also lowers immunity, triggering various chronic diseases.

Many men stay up late; if this behavior continues, it can disrupt the body’s endocrine system, including the metabolism of male hormones. Persistent disorder can reduce male libido and affect the quality of marital life.

For men in middle age, protect “one area” to enhance your “quality!”

That area is the prostate.

For men, the prostate is a unique reproductive gland, and its health is closely correlated to “capabilities.” As men age, prostate diseases plague them; thus, protecting this area becomes very important in middle age.

To protect the prostate, consuming 5 milliliters of pumpkin seed oil daily can help men “regain their vigor.”

Pumpkin seed oil is a special edible oil that contains an active biological catalyst known as “male hormone,” which can improve early swelling of the prostate.

Additionally, pumpkin seed oil contains phytosterols that inhibit the activity of 5α-reductase, reducing the production of dihydrotestosterone, thereby improving symptoms like frequent urination, urgency, and incomplete urination in men.
