Often failed to lose weight, may be due to “it” troubles, using ginger can effectively relieve

Must read

Weight loss has always been a hot topic among people, and many think that to slim down, one needs to eat less and move more. However, does this method really work for everyone? Many people eat less and exercise regularly, but their weight remains the same. At this point, it is necessary to analyze other reasons. Some people may be obese due to constipation. Addressing constipation can greatly help in losing weight. So, how can one effectively relieve constipation?

There are different types of obesity, such as fat obesity and edema obesity. Today, we are going to talk about the last one, which is constipation-related obesity. These individuals often experience abdominal bloating, bad breath, foul-smelling flatulence, loss of appetite, facial spots in women, dull complexion, bloated abdomen in men, and painful hemorrhoids.

The above are common symptoms of constipation, and many people try to solve this issue by purchasing laxatives. While these medications can provide relief and enhance intestinal motility, they can also have adverse effects on the stomach and may lead to dependency. Overuse of laxatives may result in the need to rely on them for normal bowel movements in the future.

One effective remedy for constipation is ginger. Ginger is not just a seasoning for cooking; it is also a beneficial medicinal herb. For women, drinking ginger tea with brown sugar during certain days of the month can warm the uterus, leveraging ginger’s ability to dispel cold and eliminate internal dampness. Since constipation is often caused by excessive internal dampness leading to bloating and bad breath.

However, using ginger alone may not show significant effects. Combining ginger with honey can enhance the bowel movement further. Many individuals on a weight loss journey know that drinking honey water on an empty stomach in the morning aids in bowel movements. Adding ginger to this concoction can amplify the effect of bowel movements, help eliminate internal dampness, and alleviate constipation from the root. Dry-fry ginger, grind it into a powder, mix it with honey, and dissolve in water for a convenient and healthy drink.

Another way to use ginger is by combining it with tangerine peel. Tangerine peel, which is dried orange peel, has a cooling effect. Consuming tangerine peel can help reduce internal heat in the stomach, while ginger can gently stimulate bowel movement. Combining these two ingredients, soaking them in hot water (not boiling water) can effectively eliminate constipation. Note that due to the cooling nature of tangerine peel, women should avoid this combination during menstruation.

While dietary habits are important, paying attention to physical exercise is also crucial to fundamentally relieve constipation issues. For young individuals, drinking the aforementioned water in the morning and exercising for 30 minutes is recommended. Aerobic exercises like running, swimming, or cycling are beneficial. For older adults, activities like brisk walking, tai chi, or moderate exercises are suitable to enhance body functions, keep the intestines active, and effectively relieve constipation. Although constipation might seem like a common issue and is often overlooked, it can lead to various complications, so it is essential to take it seriously.

Constipation may seem daunting, but with lifestyle changes, improved sleep patterns, and mindful dietary choices, it can be effectively managed. By making these adjustments, constipation will become less of an issue, and weight will naturally decrease.
