According to the data, China is a “gastric disease big country” with the second highest incidence of gastric cancer among all malignant tumors and the third highest mortality rate, which is sufficient to prove that there are a large number of people suffering from gastric diseases. Especially in modern times, irregular lifestyles and a tendency for excessive eating and drinking have led to a younger population being affected by gastric diseases. Many people, like my cousin who is only 28 years old, suffer from gastric diseases. Despite visiting the hospital several times for check-ups and taking medication that provides temporary relief, the symptoms reoccur after a short period. As the saying goes, treating gastric diseases is thirty percent medication and seventy percent maintenance. Therefore, it is crucial to maintain the stomach properly. How to maintain it? Firstly, individuals with gastric diseases should avoid consuming spicy, raw, and other stimulating food, overeating, and opt for small, frequent meals. Additionally, they can adopt dietary methods to maintain their stomach health. It is advisable to frequently consume stomach-nourishing soups in daily life. Particularly, the lotus seed and pig stomach soup introduced today is highly effective in invigorating the spleen and stomach. By consistently consuming it once a week, one can prevent gastric diseases.

The stomach-nourishing soup presented today is highly beneficial for individuals with weak stomachs. This is due to the pig stomach’s ability to benefit the spleen and stomach, reinforce the center, enhance Qi, suppress coughing, aid in digesting food, and the lotus seed’s rich content of proteins, calcium, iron, starch, phosphorus, and various nutrients that contribute to calming the mind, nourishing the spleen, soothing the nerves, benefiting the kidneys, and solidifying essence. Combining these two excellent ingredients to make soup not only provides nutrition and deliciousness but also nurtures the stomach. However, the only drawback of this stomach-nourishing soup is that cleaning the pig’s stomach is a bit troublesome. Hence, I will also share some tips on how to clean it. Below, I will detail the recipe for the lotus seed and pig stomach soup. Once you learn it, don’t forget to make it for your family more often^O^ to ensure a healthy stomach for everyone.
