Walking every day, failing to lose weight, body getting worse? Maybe these 3 points weren’t done well, don’t overlook

Must read

Many of you have heard the phrase “life is in motion.” Many people who want to lose weight and exercise will choose some form of physical activity. Among them, walking is a very good way to exercise the body, whether it’s walking like a stroll or power walking. Both have excellent benefits for exercising the body and burning fat. However, some people find themselves in a situation where they walk every day but see no results. They don’t feel any improvement in their body, their weight doesn’t decrease, and some even find their health deteriorating. Why is this happening? In fact, walking is also a small “skill” with techniques. If those who walk for exercise every day don’t focus on these 3 key points, the effects may be minimal, or even have a negative impact on the body!

Not seeing results in weight loss or body strengthening from walking? It’s likely due to these 3 factors not being addressed.

1. Body Tilt

When exercising by walking, many people tend to lean their bodies forward. Maintaining this posture for a long time can easily become a reflex, affecting not only external appearance but also causing symptoms of lower back pain. Therefore, it’s important to keep a straight posture while walking to effectively work on body posture and physical health.

2. Overexertion

Some people have the misconception that the more they walk, the better the exercise, leading to faster weight loss and improved health. Consequently, they keep increasing their daily step count, leading to sore legs and feet after each walk. In reality, when walking for exercise, one should consider their individual physical condition. The body has its limitations, regardless of age. Assess your body’s tolerance level first. If you are young, you can increase the step count and duration of your walk. However, for middle-aged and elderly individuals, it’s best not to excessively increase physical activity. Overexertion not only fails to achieve the desired results but may also have negative effects on the body, leading to deterioration. Therefore, the most effective approach is to match the exercise intensity to what your body can handle.

3. Inadequate Hydration

During physical activity, the body not only consumes energy but also depletes internal water reserves. Prolonged dehydration during exercise can adversely affect your health, eventually leading to deterioration. Hence, it’s essential to hydrate properly before exercising. Additionally, bring a bottle of water with you during your workout. If you feel thirsty, hydrate promptly to benefit your overall health and maximize the effects of your exercise.

These 3 points are common issues for many individuals who engage in walking for exercise. Walking is indeed an excellent way to work out, but it’s crucial to learn the correct techniques.
