Men shaving, is it better to shave in the morning or at night? Note: Do not shave randomly during three periods.

Must read

Shaving is something that men often do, some men have fast-growing facial hair and may need to shave every day, by the end of the day facial hair may have grown back. Facial hair is also one of the characteristics of men, having facial hair can enhance male charm, making them look more manly. Although shaving is a familiar routine for men, mistakes can happen which may have negative effects on the body. Most men choose to shave in the morning, but some say that shaving in the evening is better. What do you think?

Is it better for men to shave in the morning or in the evening?

Some people feel that shaving in the morning is not ideal because shaving right after waking up can lead to faster regrowth of facial hair. Since morning is when testosterone levels are higher, if you shave in the morning, facial hair may grow back quickly, and the shaving effect may not last. If it grows back quickly, what’s the point of shaving again? This argument doesn’t hold much weight, even though testosterone levels are high in the morning, it doesn’t have a significant impact on shaving, so there’s no need to be too nitpicky.

Shaving in the morning might actually be better, after shaving in the morning, you’ll look more refreshed and clean. Shaving in the evening might result in not cleaning thoroughly, over the course of the day, the body accumulates oils, which can block pores. When pores are clogged with excess oil, toxins in the skin may not be easily eliminated, which can have adverse effects on the skin. Additionally, in the evening, one’s mental state is not as sharp, and during shaving, if not careful, there is a risk of skin irritation, which could have larger consequences.

When it comes to men shaving, there are three times when it’s not recommended to shave

After entering puberty, some boys start growing facial hair, some might feel it affects their image and choose to shave. However, newly grown facial hair is soft, as it’s not yet matured, shaving could cause injuries, especially when not done skillfully.

Some men choose to shave while taking a shower to save time. It may be convenient, but it could also damage the skin. Bathrooms usually have limited space, and shortly after hot water is released, steam forms, which can penetrate the open pores when shaving. This can lead to skin issues and infections. To prevent such problems, men should avoid being lazy and shaving in the morning is advisable.

After dinner, some men might feel tired and want to get to bed early. Before taking a shower, they might consider shaving for comfort. However, it’s not ideal to shower right after dinner, or shave, because blood circulation is faster after meals, and the skin on the neck and chin is thinner and more delicate, making it more prone to damage and infections if shaving mistakes occur.

For men, shaving might seem like a minor task, and they may not pay much attention to the best time for shaving, as long as they feel the need, they can shave at any time. However, focusing on details and reducing potential problems is preferable. Pay more attention to these two time periods for the sake of overall health.
